On the Table:

Classic Swedish: This oil-based massage utilizes long strokes and light to medium  pressure  which helps to increase circulation and boost immunity for pure relaxation. Great after an intense workout or if you receive massage infrequently or have never had one.

Integrated Deep Tissue: Recommended for those with severe muscular tension, deep tissue massage utilizes specific techniques to focus on the layers of muscles below the surface to relieve tension in tight areas. A deep tissue massage can often be intense, but should never be painful.

Massage For the Childbearing Year

_Prenatal Massage: The recommended positions for receiving a prenatal massage after the first trimester is side lying and seated. Special cushions or pillows are used for comfortable positioning. Techniques focus on relaxing, oil-based strokes and passive stretches which are safe and effective during pregnancy.

Mamas-to-be must take extra special care of themselves by avoiding stress, eating only the best foods, and pampering themselves in preparation for the most important event of their lives. Mamas, please don't forget to take time for yourselves! Treat yourself and your baby to the gift of nurturing touch. Every mama deserves the best.
Note: If you have a high-risk pregnancy, you must get authorization from your doctor.

Labor Massage: Massage can offer natural pain relief for laboring mamas by helping to relax tensed-up muscles, or even to provide a soothing distraction away from contractions. This is offered by arrangement.

Postnatal Massage: After childbirth, a mother’s body goes through significant changes as the uterus shrinks and heals, and organs that have been pushed aside move back into place. Postnatal massage helps the tired mother regain lost energy, relax, and feel good about herself, making it easier to care for her newborn. Mothers who nurse and carry their baby around all day  often get crimps in the neck, shoulders, and wrists, so there is more focused work on these areas. The postnatal period may last up to 8 weeks or more, depending on the mother. Feel free to bring your newborn with you to nap and breastfeed/ bottle-feed while receiving your treatment. In-home massage is an excellent option for postnatal massage treatments.

On the Floor Mat:

_Traditional Thai Massage:  Elizabeth was trained at Wat Po school of Traditional Thai Massage in Bangkok. Thai massage is done on a floor mat, while the receiver wears loose, comfortable clothing. The massage is deep, with lots of stretching and acupressure points along the back, arms and legs.

Zen Shiatsu: Elizabeth combines elements of Zen Shiatsu that she learned from the late Zen Shiatsu Master, Ryuho Yamada. Zen Shiatsu involves "leaning in" with palms and elbows for a more focused release. Be prepared to breathe deeply.

Thai Herbal Compress

Thai Herbal Compress: At the Wat Po School of Traditional Thai Massage in Bangkok, the wafting aromas of the Herbal Compress Balls permeate the air. The aroma is both sweet and pungent, consisting of herbs such as ginger, lemongrass, galangal, and others. The compresses are steamed and then pounded gently and rolled on the skin for an additional massage experience, while the warmed  herbs provide detoxification, relief for muscular pains, and skin softening and soothing.

The Herbal Compresses can be added to any service such as Traditional Thai, or Classic Swedish/ Integrative Deep Tissue with a small additional fee to cover the cost of the compresses. After the massage, they are yours to keep, and can be steamed and reused again several more times.
